ABOUT PARKWEST ARMS
Parkwest Arms builds custom rifles by hand in Sturgis, South Dakota. Made in America, each rifle is hand-built by our master rifle makers with disciplined craftsmanship and exacting standards. We build the SD-76 Rifle line, SD-97 All-Weather Rifle, SD-10 Single Shot Rifle, and SD-22 Long Rifle for serious hunters, collectors, and marksmen worldwide.

In 1986, legendary gunsmiths, Don Allen and Pete Grisel, developed the Model 76, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation. Built on principles of controlled round feed reliability, precision machining, and hand-fitted excellence, the Model 76 established standards rooted in more than two centuries of American rifle making tradition.
Today, in Sturgis, South Dakota, master craftsmen and craftswomen carry this legacy forward with the same disciplined methods and unwavering standards. Each Parkwest Arms rifle embodies the precision, and integrity established nearly four decades ago.
Every rifle is built from hand-selected materials and precision-machined steel, where actions are blueprinted to exact tolerances and barrels are hand fitted for optimal performance. Traditional stock shaping, hand cut checkering, and meticulous metal finishing remain at the heart of every build. These time-honored methods are the foundation of rifles built to perform and endure across generations.
In 2021, Steve Rabackoff and Tim Land became stewards of this tradition, carrying forward a heritage established as Dakota Arms. Under the Parkwest Arms name, the same master rifle makers uphold the same standards with the same promise: precision engineering you can trust, craftsmanship you can feel, and quality that outlasts a lifetime.
The legacy continues not as history remembered, but as craft practiced daily. From our South Dakota workshop, where the Badlands meet the Black Hills, we build rifles for those who understand that true quality speaks softly but carries enduring authority.
